I was recently strolling through Samcheong-Dong with a couple of East4 members and we stumbled across this exhibition of photos taken by visually impaired students called Shooting Blind. The photos reminded me of drunk people with lomos, but this isn’t to say that the visually impaired students were talentless. Apparently, the students were taught to listen to the focus before taking the shot, feel the objects they shoot, and guess a lot. Remarkable stuff, really.

If you can read Korean, visit the site for directions and more info. If you do make it to the exhibit, they have a two-page English language explanation of the exhibit and project (I seem to have lost it). There is a documentary, books, and prints you can buy, as well as a donation jar. If you can’t read Korean, or you find their map hard to read, check out the one below. The exhibit is somewhere in the “red zone”.
